Here are the answers…

THE ANSWERS

10. Brent Swadley – His middle finger

He apparently lost 20% of the middle digit during his stay at the Oklahoma County Jail.

9. Jackson Lahmeyer – Had an affair with a former Miss Oklahoma USA

Only in Oklahoma politics can you advance to a congressional runoff one day and have your campaign implode over an affair with a former Miss Oklahoma USA the next.

8. Arby’s Spitter – Herpes

She strongly denied spreading herpes.

She did, however, admit to spitting in the customer’s food.

7. Paycom – Onions

They did more than make her cry!

6. Markwayne Mullin – Kratom

Mullin reportedly owned up to $1 million in a company that sells kratom, while also taking a keen interest in how the federal government regulates it.

What a coincidence!

5. Ben Lepak – McDonald’s

Naturally, he had just left church.

4. Mike Mazzei – Roger Stone

A short time later, Donald Trump endorsed Mazzei. I’m sure those two things were totally unrelated.

3. Gise & Kannady – San Diego

Nothing says family values quite like mixing government travel with a little extramarital sightseeing!

2. Mike Mazzei – Urine drug test

Who knew providing bodily fluids would become an important qualification for becoming governor?

1. Ryan Walters – All of the above

He’s still Chode Boy to us.

HOW’D YOU DO?

10/10 – Ogle Mole: You either read TLO every day or desperately need more hobbies.

8–9 – Certified Oklahoma News Sicko: You spent way too much of your summer online keeping up with Oklahoma politicians, scandals, affairs, onions, urine samples and fast-food arrests. We appreciate the sacrifice.

6–7 – Respectable: You paid attention to the important stuff while still apparently managing to enjoy portions of your summer.

3–5 – Casual Observer: Not terrible. Apparently you have interests outside Oklahoma news, which sounds healthy.

0–2 – Healthy Human Being: Congratulations! You successfully avoided Oklahoma news for most of the summer. We envy you.

Anyway, we hope everyone enjoys the quiz and has a fun, safe Labor Day weekend.

We’ll be back next week to resume keeping track of all this nonsense.
