You’re fired!
Only one day after he secured a spot in the runoff for Tulsa’s CD-1 congressional seat, Jackson Lahmeyer – the Pastors for Trump founder who has found himself embroiled in a controversy regarding an alleged marital affair with a right-wing Oklahoma beauty queen – has officially dropped out of the race.
Here’s Lahmeyer’s official statement:
After prayerful consideration with my wife, Kendra, and my team over the last twenty four hours, I've made the difficult decision to suspend my campaign for Congress.

I do not want to be a distraction to my family, my church, and the great people of Oklahoma's 1st Congressional…
Wow. Look at God going after that sinner! One week ago, Lahmeyer was the Trump-endorsed frontrunner in the race. One Daily Mail article and “lips loving” text later, and he’s stepping down.
Lahmeyer’s announcement came just hours after Reese Gorman reported that two of his Gorman Moles had told him Lahmeyer was resigning, and not long after Donald Trump officially announced his un-endorsement:

Yep. Tedford has his “Complete and Total Endorsement” and “HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!” No pressure there!
For what it’s worth, Caitlin Simmons Key – the former Miss Oklahoma USA who spoke to the Daily Mail – has been silent since the story broke. I wonder what she thinks about everything going on, and how she’s inadvertently become a hero to the Tulsa left and anyone else who opposes Christian nationalist control.
Anyway, I had to rush this out and we'll probably have more about it soon. In the meantime, stay with The Lost Ogle. We'll keep you advised.
