I know this makes me a bad internet outrage click-baiter, but I’m pretty indifferent when it comes to data centers.
Yeah, I know their faults and wouldn’t want to live next to one, but until that day arrives, I just can’t work up enough outrage to really care.
That’s actually kind of unfortunate, because outside of Flock cameras and smelters, data centers are one of the hottest outrage-click commodities on the Oklahoma internet right now! People passionately hate them, pack city council meetings to protest them and eagerly click on anything suggesting one may be coming to their town.
Basically, they’re everything a desperate local internet publisher could ask for, and I've been sadly missing out.
Fortunately, Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt has finally given us an excuse to get involved and cash in!
Earlier this week, our reliable content mill of a governor bravely spoke out in support of data centers, giving us the perfect opportunity to finally hop aboard the outrage-click train.
