After being trapped inside with our own thoughts and weird foods last weekend, something about this one feels important. No pressure.
Oklahoma City is opening back up and kicking off Black History Month with an interesting mix of art, food, and culture to send you bursting back into the world.
Enjoy.

TJ Après – Alpine Pop-Up
All weekend · Reservations for afternoon + evening · The Jones Assembly
In case you didn’t get your winter fix during the snowpocalypse, Jones is doing an après-ski-themed pop-up that looks festive and, more importantly, warm. Expect a suspiciously attractive crowd and a special menu on a climate-controlled patio, complete with alpine décor and themed cocktails. Reserve your “lift ticket” in advance for a good window seat.

Oklahoma City Home + Garden Show
All weekend · Hours vary by day · OKC Fair Park
Done with winter and dreaming of lush gardens and languid days outdoors? Then it might be worth a trip to the fairgrounds for the city's big annual home and garden showcase. There will be hundreds of exhibitors, expert demos, and all things home and garden. It feels a bit grifty to require a ticket for this obnoxiously sponsored event, but whatever, at least you probably won’t get stabbed in the parking lot.
