You could hardly be blamed for failing to commit to anything this weekend! It was hard to make a plan when, by Thursday evening, you still didn't know if you'd be busy on Saturday watching a Game 7.
Use this in a pinch, if yours was a Thunder-related failure to plan for alternative means of fun. Here are a few worthy OKC happenings to check out this weekend.

Kickin’ It on Route 66 OKC Centennial Celebration
Sat., May 30 | 9AM-10PM | Scissortail Park
Scissortail Park is celebrating the Mother Road’s centennial with a motherlode of Oklahoma-centric Americana. Expect a day-long bonanza: farmers market, kids market, pedal boats, beer, food, kayaks, different beer, roller skating and trying not to lose your people to the crowd.
Oklahoma's Office of Film + Music is so proud of the musical lineup that they sent a press release hyping performers Kaitlin Butts, Ricochet, Bailey Rae and OK3. After the free 6 p.m. concert, those not elsewhere watching basketball can hang around to wrap the festivities with a neon-themed drone show at 10 p.m. Depending on how Game 7 goes, it could be quite an epic downtown night!

ThriftCon OKC 2026
Sat., May 30 | 10AM-5PM | Oklahoma City Convention Center
Fashion is the main event at ThriftCon OKC, which will bring 100+ clothing, collectibles and streetwear vendors downtown for a full day of all things vintage – including a special curation of 2000s brands for the Juicy set.
Tickets are $16 in advance, $19 day-of. If you have a cool kid who loves vintage, make a day of it – ages 13 and under are free.
-

36th Annual Garden Festival
Sat., May 30 | 9AM-3:30PM | Will Rogers Gardens
I haven’t been able to show my face at Will Rogers Park since the day I barged into a closed memorial service mistaking it for an extra boring business function, but a garden event featuring a giant plant sale, art market, and food trucks might do the trick! Expect all the usual festival fun, but if you’re serious about the plant sale, bring a wagon and arrive early.

Jaimee Harris
Sun., May 31 | 8PM | The Blue Door
This is the one, if you’re up for an intimate, pin-drop-quiet listening room experience on a Sunday night. Hailed by critics as the next queen of Americana-Folk, Texas singer-songwriter Jaimee Harris is bringing her raw storytelling – a blend of folk, country, and rock – to The Blue Door.
Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 at the blue doors. BYOB (wine and beer).
