FEDs raid home and office of Blaine Dyer. Find lots and lots of guns.

Blaine Dyer apparently missed the "no guns" memo in his federal plea deal

Yesterday afternoon, the Ogle Mole Network lit up with reports that the FBI had raided the home and office of Blaine Dyer – the embattled attorney who pled guilty in February to federal conspiracy charges related to his failed land-grab scheme against Harold Hamm & Continental Resources

Blaine was still awaiting sentencing on that plea, but as part of his guilty plea, he was supposed to do what every other felon does and get rid of his firearms.

I guess Blaine didn’t, and, well, that inspired the FBI or ATF or whoever to conduct a good old-fashioned raid and cuffed him in the driveway of his multi-million dollar home while his terrified Range Rover looked on in absolute horror...

That photo of a handcuffed Blaine Dyer has been making the rounds across the OKC Oil and Gas scene. I guess it proves, once again, that if you fuck around, you better be prepared to find out.

According to the Ogle Mole Network, the FBI found a couple of dozen firearms during their search of Blaine’s property. I’m also hearing the FEDs are investigating a “straw purchase” situation involving Blaine’s hot golfer wife. I guess she was too busy hitting off the black tees to pay attention to this “Don’t Lie for the Other Guy” public service campaign.

If she did buy Blaine a firearm, she better stay disappeared on the golf course:

Being a smart lawyer and all, you’d think Blaine would have taken things a bit more seriously and parted ways with his guns while awaiting sentencing for his more-than-generous plea deal. For his sake, let’s just hope there’s not an email floating around out there that details his scheme to keep his weapons. That would suck for him.

Anyway, I guess we’ll now wait around for The Oklahoman or some outlet to follow up with more concrete details about what exactly went down. Until then…
