Kevin Stitt ready to “Turnaround” Oklahoma after three years sending it backwards…

12:01 PM EST on February 8, 2022

Yesterday afternoon, Oklahoma Governor Kevin "Ya Got Any Biscuits For Sale In There?!" Stitt gave his annual State of the State address in front of a packed house of lawmakers, judges, lobbyists, grifters, special interest groups, and other elites who want things rigged to their advantage at the Oklahoma Capitol.

For the most part, it was your standard Stitt speech. It lacked charisma, ignored reality, and served as more of a formal campaign rally that touched on all of his polling-approved conservative tropes, talking points and cliches. You know, things like cut taxes, the government is bad, privatize education, McGirt's destroying the state, Biden is the enemy, yada yada yada, blah blah blah.

While Stitter gave the speech, his esteemed communications trolls rolled out quotes from the fifth grade reading level address. Apparently oblivious to the fact that Stitt has been governor for a gaffe-filled three years and is responsible for many of the issues facing our state, they chose to go with the hashtag – #Turnaround2022 –  because nothing says "re-elect me" than "Hey, I'll fix all the mistakes that I made."
