Tate Publishing owes nearly $100,000 in unpaid wages to Filipino employees

5:30 AM EST on March 2, 2017

It looks like Tate Publishing needs to add a new button to its homepage. It should read – "I am a screwed over Filipino employee who is owed money."

According to documents we obtained through our new Filipino Ogle Mole Network, Tate Publishing apparently owes $4,841,567 Philippine peso in wages to 220 employees (a.k.a. human beings) who worked at the company's Philippines office in December of 2016. According to the Google currency calculator, that's nearly $100,000 US dollars.

Check out the documents. They look very official:

At this point, there were about five or six pages of employee names along with how much each individual was owed. It concluded with this order:

On behalf of everyone in Oklahoma, I'd like to offer my condolences to all the Filipino employees who were ripped off by this "Christian" company. This isn't how most Oklahomans do business. We wish you the best of luck in recovering your wages. Hopefully Ryan adds a new button on the Tate website for you very soon.
