Families that steal together stay together…

owasso-family-stealing

Let's be honest. Families don't spend enough quality time with each other. It seems like everyone today is locked into their phones and computers, Facebooking and Snapping, and ignoring the people who love them the most.

Knowing that, let's give some props to this Owasso family that was recently busted stealing from an area Target.

Via Fox 23:

Owasso police say six members of a family stole $1,200 in merchandise from a Target in Owasso.

Police said they arrived at the store in Owasso and saw the six people putting items from a cart into an SUV, they said one of the people ran from them, but they caught him. Police said there was a 12-year-old with them who was not involved in the thef

Police arrested Christine Sawyer, Christopher Henson, Josh Sawyer, Kimberly Sawyer, Tiffany Cartwright, and Chrystal Henson Monday night. Kimberly and Christine Sawyer had outstanding warrants, others were arrested on grand larceny and contributing to the delinquency of a minor complaints.

That's sweet. It's a shame they got caught. Some of my fondest memories as a child were when my dad would take me to Super Walmart and let me steal one toy and one box of cereal. I think that's why he still calls me the Crunchberry Ninja Turtle. Maybe we should go steal some stuff again for old times sake. It would probably be a lot of fun... unless we get caught.
