Yesterday, Regular Jim Traber and Al Eschbach got into a long, heated discussion regarding the recent Steve McNair homicide, and whether or not McNair was a good person. If you can tolerate yelling and back-and-forth bickering, the "exclusive" audio can be found in the YouTube clip below:
First of all, I now officially feel guilty for making fun of Doug Warner. These two clowns make Doug look like a middle school debate champion.
Anyway, this was an "entertaining" debate, but it was entertaining in a very driving-by-a-bad-car-wreck-on-I35 type of way. Seriously, how is it possible that these two guys can argue for 10 minutes and both be losers? If I had to pick a winner, I would probably choose Eschbach, but that's just because he's not a heartless right wing lunatic. His irrelevant "what if his wife was cheating?" statement should almost make him a loser by default.
Also, the fact that these guys get paid a lot of money to talk about this stuff on the radio is embarrassing. The fact that so many people listen to it is even more embarrassing. And the fact that I'm one of those people is just about the most embarrassing thing ever. It's more embarrassing than learning that Sally Kern watches gay comic book porn. Wait"¦that would actually be cool.
