Grill and Grift: Ryan Walters to Host Saucy $50-a-Plate BBQ Fundraiser

We finally found a BBQ where meat isn’t the dumbest thing on the menu!

Thanks to a tip via the Ogle Mole Network, we’ve learned that Ryan Walters and his buddy Nathan Dahm – the OK GOP Chairman who was depantsed on the national stage by Jon Stewart – are co-hosting a $50-a-plate BBQ fundraising dinner in Tulsa.

Well, at least $50 is the list price.

After you tack on the 30% managing and consulting fees from Swadley’s, I think the true cost is actually $65.

I should probably admit I have no clue if Swadley’s is catering the event, but since they’re the official BBQ of Oklahoma grifters, religious zealots and other people who voted for Ryan Walters, I’ll just assume they are. If RibCrib scored the catering contract, Brent Swadley should sue for breach of contract.

According to our sources, Ryan Walters has spent the last several weeks meticulously preparing for the BBQ, spending hours in his tan SUV crafting a variety of updated manufactured controversies to appease the crowd of people who are so sad and pathetic that they’re literally paying money to eat BBQ with Ryan Walters.

Ryan even has a new outfit ready to go!

I can’t believe I’m going to write this, but I’d advise Ryan to stick with the ultra-tight blue jeans, JC Penny blazer, and skinny tie look. It looks a whole lot better than whatever darn tootin' monstrosity that is. He looks as much like a real cowboy as Nathan Dahm looks like a guy who has real consensual sex!
