Back in June, we reported that Nichols Hills bad boy Scott Fischer – the former CEO of futuristic food maker Dippin' Dots – was arrested on burglary charges after he broke into a neighbor’s home to flee imaginary tribal kidnappers who do sex jobs while in the middle of what appeared to be a drug-induced mental health breakdown.
If that sounds like a lot, it is.
Here's the police body cam footage of the arrest...
Probably because I had to pay good money to acquire that publicly owned body cam arrest footage from the Nichols Hills Police Department, we followed the case as it made its way through the courts.
As a result, we should probably do our job as journalists and tell you that all charges related to the case appear to have been dropped:

Wow. Imagine that. Another wealthy, white Oklahoman getting away with something. And in Nichols Hills of all places. It's a good thing he wasn't driving a semi-truck through, otherwise he could have gone to jail!
In all seriousness, I doubt Scott got any special treatment. I'm sure if he was just a regular old guy from the Southside breaking into someone’s home in Nichols Hills in the middle of the day and locking himself in the closet with a butcher's knife, the exact same thing would have happened.
A criminal defense attorney I asked seemed to agree:
He was charged with second-degree burglary. This requires breaking into an unoccupied house (in this instance) with an intent to steal property or commit a felony. Based on what I’ve seen, it doesn’t look like there was an intent to commit any crime once inside. The prosecutor probably finally read the statute and realized this. That’s likely why they dismissed the case.
Geez, you’d think my Defense Attorney Mole would play to the crowd a little more. That’s no fun!
Anyway, although Scott seemed to get out of this incident scot-free – hehe – he still has an extensive criminal and civil history on OSCN to keep us entertained.
For example, he’s currently entangled in at least three civil cases – one related to those revenge porn accusations, another to a weird rental car scheme, and a third having to do with the much-publicized domestic assault from a few years back.
When and if there are any updates on those, we’ll let you know.
Stay with The Lost Ogle. We’ll keep you advised.
