Thanks to a tip via the Ogle Mole Network, we’ve learned that Scott Fischer – a guy who’s made a name for himself over the years through various arrests, erratic behavior, and a brief tenure as CEO of Dippin’ Dots – turned himself in today to the Nichols Hills PD on second-degree burglary charges.
According to a police report, Nichols Hills 911 received a panicked call from Fischer on the morning of April 14th claiming that – ready for this? – four Hispanic men were inside his home threatening to kidnap and sex-traffic him because he was the CEO of Dippin’ Dots and has money.
After calling 911, Fischer – a stand-up guy who’s been arrested for DUI and domestic assault and sued for revenge porn blackmail – fled his home and ran to a neighbor’s house. He broke into the house through an open garage, grabbed a knife from the kitchen, and – while still on the phone with 911 – locked himself in an upstairs bedroom.
Not too long after the call, a cavalry of cops from the Nichols Hills PD arrived on the scene. They entered the neighbor’s home and coerced Fischer to come downstairs and drop the knife, where they proceeded to handcuff and question him.
Here’s some of the body cam footage:
We’ve obtained body cam footage of former Dippin’ Dots CEO Scott Fischer – owner of Coop Ale Works – being arrested by Nichols Hills police after he broke into a home, grabbed a knife, and called 911 claiming a gang of foreigners was trying to kidnap him for sex trafficking. pic.twitter.com/2WcAypGVU9

*Editor's Note: An earlier version of this story – and the tweet above – reported that Scott was an owner of Coop Ale Works. Although Scott may present himself as such when out and about, it looks like the brewery is technically owned by his dad, Mark Fisher.
As those cops dealt with Fischer, another searched his home and found no evidence that a gang of sex-trafficking Mexican kidnappers who must really like Undercover Boss and cryogenically frozen ice cream were at Fischer's house.
The police then determined Fisher was having a possibly drug-fueled psychotic episode and took him to a mental health facility for observation.
A few days after the incident, Nichols Hills police met with the owners of the home that Fischer broke into to flee from the imaginary kidnappers.
The wife/mom expressed fear for the safety of her family and recounted the various times the police have had to go to Fischer’s residence, including the well-publicized moment he was found passed out in the yard naked after attacking a girlfriend.
The family informed the police they wanted to press charges. About a month later, this appeared on OSCN:

We first got word of the disturbance via the Ogle Mole Network and promptly filed an open records request for the body cam footage, 911 call, and arrest reports.
Probably not coincidentally, the day after we picked up these open records, Fischer turned himself in on burglary charges. Here’s his mugshot:

As far as mugshots go, that’s one of Scott’s better ones. I think it's the best one yet, and way way way better than the one he got for the DUI:
Anyway, I guess this is a developing story, and we’ll have more details as they become available.
We wish Scott the best of luck getting the help, treatment, and – hopefully – the one-way private-jet ticket out of town he obviously and desperately needs. Our thoughts go out to his long-suffering Nichols Hills neighbors, ex-girlfriends, and all the people out there using him for his money.
Stay with The Lost Ogle. We’ll keep you advised.
