Thanks to a tip via the Ogle Mole Network, we’ve learned that Dr. Joe Fallin – the Nichols Hills dentist who was married to former Governor Mary Fallin through most of the 1980s and 1990s – has filed as a Republican for HD 85. It’s the North OKC district that is currently repped by gubernatorial candidate Cyndi Munson.

That’s pretty cool. It’s not every day you get a House candidate who got engaged at the Playboy Mansion, so I can’t wait to see how Joe handles the campaign trail. Hopefully, he has a good team to lead him to victory. Let’s check them out.

Christina Fallin (a.k.a. Hipster Boo Boo) – the artsy fashionista celebrant who gave us all so many laughs, bellyaches and marriages during her mom’s eight years of gubernatorial terror – is his campaign treasurer! When Chanel scarves, headdresses and "other beautiful things" appear on his campaign expense report, I think we’ll know why.
Anyway, I don't really know any details about Joe's campaign. He doesn't have socials or a website set up yet, so I guess you could say he's a bit of a mystery. I wonder – will he go the traditional campaign approach and, like his old Playboy bunny, run on a generally conservative "Faith, Family, and Freedom" platform? Or will Christina steer this thing into uncharted territory where campaign events double as gallery openings with Coachella ticket raffles? I have no clue, but I hope it will be fun to cover.
