Before we get to work producing non-award-winning content for the rest of the week, I’d like to wish all Oklahoma government employees a happy and hopefully typo-free “State Employee Recognition Day."
As we mentioned on Monday, Kevin Stitt issued a comically absurd typo-filled proclamation for the day of “recgonition," which OMES then blasted in an email to everyone.
The typos in the document were so egregious and obvious that many people thought we forged the document or that it was a lame Photoshop hoax.
I’m not fucking around when I say this – that was totally real!
After we made them aware of the error, Stitt and Co. frantically fixed most of the typos in the proclamation, leaving a few behind in a likely effort to make the document look like an authentic production...
I guess after word got out about the unfixed typos, they provided another update, which appears to be typo-free.
Yep, I guess the third time is a charm! Great work, State Employees!
Anyway, I’d like to once again thank all of the state employees who read this site for all the work you do for the people who still call this hellhole home. You guys have to put up with a bunch of underfunded shit and deal with the negative stereotypes about state employees, but we salute you.
While we're at it, we’d like to give a shoutout to all of our Jewish readers, and wish them a happy “Tewish American Heritage Month.”
Stay with The Lost Ogle. We’ll keep you advised.
