Abby Broyles to run for Stephanie Bice’s congressional seat!

3:56 PM EDT on August 31, 2021

Earlier today, we learned via The Ogle Mole Network that Abby Broyles – the former KFOR anchor turned lawyer turned US Senate candidate – filed paperwork announcing her statement of candidacy for Oklahoma's 5th Congressional District seat that's currently held by stale IPA Stephanie Bice.

Here's the paperwork:

That's pretty cool! There's been a lot of speculation that Abby was going to run for Congress, and I guess this all but makes it official.

I guess the first question is does she have a chance to beat Bice? I think so. Sure, she got obliterated by Inhofe and a drunk driver during her Senate campaign, but that was a state-wide race. OK CD-5 is a purple district, and let's be honest, Abby Broyles looks good in purple:

Then again, Abby does have some baggage. She's logical, smart, and not a Covidiot moron who lives in a warped reality, so she will have a tough hill to climb. I bet Bice and her team are already coming up with slogans and teasers that connect Abby to Biden, Pelosi, AOC and all the other liberal boogymen they use to rally their paranoid base.

Anyway, as of hit-publish-button time, Abby hasn't made an official announcement. Stay with The Lost Ogle. We'll keep you advised!
