Ogle Madness XIII: Western Region, Upper Bracket

8:00 AM EDT on March 18, 2021

We're on day three of Ogle Madness XIII and moving onto the other side of the bracket. Today we'll be voting on matchups from the vaunted Western Region, which contains some classic heavy hitters and former champions. Check-in later today for the lower bracket.

Right now, we've got:

(1) Emily Sutton vs (16) Dana Plato's Old RV
(8) Jim Inhofe vs (9) James Lankford
(4) Gwen Stefani vs (13) Chris West
(5) Pioneer Woman vs (12) Oklahoma Logo

(1) Emily Sutton

Who: Oklahoma's most beloved weatherperson

Biggest Strength: Can absolutely whip your ass in a triathlon

Biggest Weakness: Is probably too nice to actually fist fight you

(16) Dana Plato's Old RV

What: The vehicle where Different Strokes star Dan Plato passed while staying in Moore

Biggest Strength: Holds its resale value.

Biggest Weakness: Possibly haunted.

(8)Jim Inhofe

Who: Dinosaur Republican state senator

Biggest Strength: Longevity

Biggest Weakness: Critical Thinking

(9) James Lankford

Who: Former Falls Creek director turned US Senator

Biggest Strength: High cheekbones, a strong sense of unfounded moral superiority

Biggest Weakness: He still shows undying fealty for a president who was driven out like a snake

(4) Gwen Stefani

Who: International pop star who used to be in a ska band

Biggest Strength: When she's at a spelling bee, she can ace the word 'BANANAS' every single time

Biggest Weakness: She moved from Orange County to Tishomingo

(13) Chris West

Who: Canadian County sheriff who stormed the US Capitol

Biggest Strength: His cowboy cosplay is absolutely on point and would get him into any rodeo

Biggest Weakness: Looks like he robs stagecoaches

(5) Pioneer Woman

Who: Oklahoma's favorite homespun food blogger and television show host

Biggest Strength: Having an empire that stretches from blog to cookbooks to Teflon pans

Biggest Weakness: I've tried her cornbread recipe twice and it sucked

(12) Oklahoma Logo

Who: The generic new badge for the state that we commissioned, for some reason

Biggest Strength: Well, it's probably the most colorful thing in this bracket

Biggest Weakness: It's unnecessary, ugly, and looks like a gas station logo

Vote now, and we'll have the lower bracket up later today!
