One cool perk about being the guy who poorly runs The Lost Ogle is that whenever a new rap music video drops in the Lawton area, I'm usually the first person to hear about it.
Yeah, most people would consider that a cruel curse and immediately reevaluate their life choices, but not me. You see, I'm a charitable person who likes to help the unfortunate, and I can't think of a better way to do that than by giving the Lawton rap community some "Big League City" publicity and exposure.
On that note, our old pal Knuckles has dropped a new track just in time for Halloween – it's called Oklahoma Horror Story. Ironically enough, it doesn't include one shot of people living in Lawton... or girls humping a pile of horse shit. In fact, most of the video is animated!
Check it out:
Wow. I don't know if I've spent too much time cooped up inside listening to the sounds of Baby Einstein toys on repeat for the last six months, but that song was actually decent. I like the weird sample from Oklahoma, and any rap that includes "meth addict" in its lyrics is a keeper.
The video was nice, too. In fact, it was probably too nice. Who knew that low-budget rappers from Southwestern Oklahoma had such high animation standards. I bet Barbie Doll is already working on a claymation video to drop around Christmas.
