Local weirdo wants to carry a gun around the OKC Zoo…

I don't have a problem with guns. I own them, my friends and family own them, and I'm sure my enemies own them. I also don't have a problem with nuts. They're delicious!

But gun nuts can get on my nerves. Especially ones like local goober Don Spencer (pictured above). His mission in life is to fight for the rights of authoritarian individuals with general insecurities, irrational fears and small penises to bring guns wherever they want, including tranquil, generally peaceful places where guns are banned, like parks, festivals and the Oklahoma City Zoo.

Via KFOR:

A second amendment rights group is challenging the Oklahoma City Zoo’s policy prohibiting guns.

Don Spencer is the president of the Oklahoma 2nd Amendment Association. He said they’ve been getting complaints from their members who can’t bring their guns into the zoo.

Really? You want to open carry at the Zoo? I have an idea. Why don't you just go to the GW Animal Park before it closes. That will save everyone a bunch of time and money. They definitely don't have a problem with guns. Just make sure you don't accidentally kill yourself!

So, Spencer went in back in August open carrying a gun and wearing a body camera. He said he was let inside and wandered around for about 30 minutes before being approached by zoo security and two Oklahoma City police officers.

Spencer was escorted from the zoo and told he was not welcome back.

This isn't the first time Spencer has pulled a publicity stunt like this. He was the guy who challenged the Norman Music Festival's gun ban. He's also fighting the no-gun policy at Tulsa's new Gathering Place. Basically, if there's a place where it doesn't make sense to have a gun, Spencer's going to fight for the right to do it.

Anyway, what are your thoughts on this? Should guns be allowed at the Zoo and other parks? Do you like guns or nuts? Let us know in the comments.
