Our deepest sympathies and condolences go out to the family and friends of local musician, comedian and entertainer Will Ogletree. He passed away yesterday following a tragic accident on Sunday night.

Will hosted TLO Trivia Nights for us at Anchor Down and Buffalo Wild Wings since late last year. I didn't know him long, but it only took a minute to see that he was a talented, funny and all-around good guy. He was a joy to work with, and had a charm and demeanor that was impossible not to like.

Back in April, I took part in some silly Thunder beer promotion, and invited Will and his best friend / roommate Alex Sanchez to come along. They knew nothing about the Thunder or basketball, but they showed up (free food always closes a deal) and made a ridiculously awkward event a fun one. This Instagram pic from that night still stands out.

Will died way too young, and his passing has left a big void in OKC's comedy and indie entertainment scene. Even if you didn't know him, I'd encourage you to grab a tissue and scroll through his Facebook page. It's become a makeshift public memorial for his family, friends, and colleagues to grieve and share memories about his life.

From everyone at The Lost Ogle, our thoughts go out to Will's family and friends. It was a blessing and pleasure to get to know him. RIP.
