BeeBee Jonez has “unretired” from “acting…”

I received a text from my Uncle Bob last Tuesday stating that he couldn't read The Lost Ogle from his work computer. The site was being flagged as a "restricted" website that may contain "sexual material."  This was alarming because our business model is very dependent upon people reading from their cubicle while they should be hard at work looking at spreadsheets.

I figured/hoped my uncle's work computer situation was related to the post we published the day before. It was about Moore native and nationally known (this word is spelled backwards  --->) rnop star BeeBee Jonez being an Oklahoma City Thunder fan. My suspicions were confirmed when he sent the following text on Friday:

Well I can finally open Lost Ogle but I can't go to page 2. Whatever you have there is what is getting flagged and blocked. That's

That's great. Now whenever I write about Oklahoma actresses who get paid to do the nasty-nasty on camera, there's a chance the Internet police will block us. That's not good. Since we want people like my uncle to be able to read this stuff while trudging through a conference call, I've decided to go out of my way to prevent TLO from being blacklisted. That means I'm intentionally not writing the actress' name correctly and I'm avoiding posting any, uhm, sultry photos. Hell, I even renamed the pic above Jessica Tandy.

Anyway, last summer BeeBee announced she was retiring from the grown-up movie world. Not surprisingly, that didn't last long. Here's an excerpt from a moderately interesting interview on a site called Bro Bible. Yes, Bro Bible. I edited out the "p" word the rhymes with "scorn."

Bro Bible: Let’s talk about why you left CENSORED a few months ago. Why did you quit? What led up to it and why did you want to walk away?

Jonez: The main reason was because I was not thinking clearly. I didn’t know what I wanted. I just needed to take some “me” time to figure out what I wanted from life. I was so lost and I was hanging out with the wrong people. I just needed to clean my life out. And now I’m thinking clearly and I have my head one straight. Now I’ve decided that UNICYCLED is really what I want.

Bro Bible: So what did you do during you hiatus?

Jonez: I got a real job. I still have it right now. I do marketing and sales for a restoration company. I’m still doing it. It helps keep me grounded, you know?

Whenever we get big enough, I'm going to track down whoever does the hiring for that Phoenix area restoration company and see if they'll lead our human resources department. They'd make a great fit with Team TLO.

The best part of the interview with B!B! was this little snippet about her weird photo shoot with Rob Gronkowski:

Bro Bible: You gained a lot of notoriety last year for hanging out with Gronk. He kind of has this party boy lifestyle that Bros really love about him.

BeeBee: That whole thing was totally blown out of proportion. It was over a year ago and it was a simple picture. People just took it and ran with it. I mean, it was awesome for me. I gained a lot of fans from it. I feel a little bad for him, but whatever.

Bro Bible: Why do you feel bad for him?

BeeBee: Um. I feel bad because he had to apologize to the NFL. It probably wasn’t a very good look for him because CENSORED stars get this stereotype as these horrible people…

Bro Bible: How does that make you feel?

BeeBee: It makes me feel really shitty. I mean, I’ve gotten to the point now that I just let everything roll off my back, because if I didn’t, I would be a mess every single day. I can get 100 comments that are positive and then I can get one negative one and… It hurts. It does. But I can’t let it get to me or I wouldn’t be able to be in this industry. If it makes people feel better to knock someone down, whatever. Good for them I guess. It’s all from the stereotyping we get. It sucks.

Bro Bible: That’s awful. Going back to Rob, if you will. He got injured at the end of this year, but he still parties a lot. What’s he like to be with?

That's hysterical. He tried the "How does that make you feel" approach, she gave an honest, emotional response, and then he replied with a "Yeah, nobody cares about that. Going back to Gronk..." follow up. That's the type of hard-hitting journalism I expect from a site called Bro Bible.

Anyway, to read the rest of the interview, click here. Wait, I'm not linking to that. It will probably get us blacklisted again. Just search "Bro Bible" and "BeeBee Jonez." You'll eventually find it.
