Chase Thomason likes Mother Nature’s furry

The guy pictured above is Chase Thomason. He is the newest addition to KFOR weather team and comes to Oklahoma City via Lubbock, Texas. He loves many things in life, including snowboarding, playing tennis and Mother Nature's furry.

From his KFOR bio:

Chase Thomason joined the 4Warn Storm Team in August 2012. He comes to Oklahoma from Lubbock, Texas where he was a meteorologist at KJTV.

His love for Mother Nature’s furry started in Salt Lake City, Utah where he was raised. In his own backyard he was able to watch a unique weather phenomenon that only happens in two parts of the United States, lake-effect snow. This ignited his passion for meteorology.

I know what you're thinking. Is Patrick really pointing out a minor typo from another website? Isn't this the same guy whose own advertisers make fun of him for not having the ability to proofread? Wouldn't this be extremely hypocritical, kind of like Spam referring to Vienna Sausage as a mystery meat, or Hinder calling the All American Rejects sellouts?

Yes, it would be hypocritical. But here's the deal. I'm not 100% sure it is a typo. I mean, this is Chase Thomason's girlfriend:

Yep, that's KFOR's Ashton Edwards. She's like a social media reporter or something for KFOR.com, the daughter of the station's news director, and Chase's long time girlfriend. She also has furry locks of hair. I think they call her Aslan in the newsroom. One time, Lance West confused her for a mop!!!

Okay, I know what you're thinking again. Is Patrick really making fun of this nice girl's hair? Isn't this the same guy who found his first gray when he was 16 and occasionally gets drunk and researches Rogaine on the Internet? Wouldn't this be extremely hypocritical, like Cheese Whiz referring to Easy Cheese as processed crap, or Toby Keith calling Garth Brooks a redneck hillbilly?

Yes, it would absolutely be hypocritical. That's why I'm also going to share this pic with you that someone sent to us earlier this year:

Now that's what I call Mother Nature's fury!!! Or furry. Hell, I don't know.

Anyway, I think I'm going to quit here while I still have a little bit of a soul, spine and dignity. From all accounts, Ashton's a cool girl. Hopefully we never have to feel the wrath of her (No, I'm not going there) fury some day.
