Ogle Madness: West Region, Second Round

So yesterday we had our first nail-biter of the Field of 32 with Brent Skarky taking Toby Rowland down to the wire. Granted, it was controversial, but it was good to finally have a close match. Also, other than Curtis Fitzpatrick or Clark Matthews' hair stylist, can anyone name me a more perfect Cinderella than Brent Skarky?

Anyway, today's match-ups are:

    • (1) Brad Henry vs. (9) Jamie Ceretta
    • (4) Jessica Schambach vs. (5) Mark Rodgers
    • (3) Wayne Coyne vs (6) Mike Gundy
    • (2) Bob Stoops vs. (7) Linda Cavanaugh

After the jump, we visit the Cowchip Festival in Beaver to check out the action.

(3) Wayne Coyne vs (6) Mike Gundy

About Wayne Coyne:

Who he is: Lead singer of the Flaming Lips

Biggest Strength: Writing odd-ball tunes about the beauty of life, death and robot Jesus statues playing checkers on Mars.

Biggest Weakness: Has appeared in the Justice League of Oklahoma, Beverly Hills 90210 and Charmed. Two of those were voluntary.

Fun Fact: Although he didn't graduate from high school, he gave the 2006 commencement speech for the artsy Classen High School. In it, he talks about selling pot and a "urine bath" from a young Mexican boy. It's worth a listen.

-

-

About Linda Cavanaugh:

Who she is: Longtime evening anchor for KFOR Channel 4.

Biggest Strength: Uhm...call me crazy, but I would have to say it's her daughter Ann Cavanaugh.
