Throughout the week, Channel 25 and Wendy Suares have been promoting a big feature update on the Lookout Kitchen saga – the mildly entertaining but not nearly as juicy state park restaurant scandal that followed the Swadley’s Foggy Bottom Swindle.
In case you need a primer, JP Wilson – Joe Exotic’s old magician – and his restaurant operation were selected by Shelley Zumwalt in 2023 to take over the six state park restaurants left behind after the Swadley’s debacle.
Naturally, that deal went about as well as you’d expect.
Over the next couple of years, Lookout Kitchen fell behind on money it owed the state, got tangled up in various financial and contractual disputes, and even had one location catch fire. By September 2025, all the remaining restaurants were closed for good.
Well, it turns out the magic show wasn’t over!
Channel 25 uncovered a new twist involving an investor lawsuit, a fraud ruling, nearly $1 million in damages and, most importantly, a Ferrari and a Bentley that Wilson has been ordered to hand over.
You can watch the full Channel 25 report below:
A judge finds fraud. JP Wilson disagrees.

An Oklahoma County judge has ordered more than $942K in damages — plus a Ferrari and Bentley turned over to investors in the failed Lookout Kitchen deal.
But there’s still unanswered questions about YOUR money.https://t.co/uFzm5kgZo2 pic.twitter.com/QvCexNJyo4
Yikes. I guess this should be a warning to all bureaucrats and investors – the next time a fast-talking magician who owns loud shirts and offers fancy cars as loan collateral pitches you on a restaurant deal, be a little skeptical!
Although a judge literally ruled that he committed fraud, Wilson naturally disagreed:
“We strongly disagree with the court's ruling, which was entered by default without our side of the story ever being heard on the merits,” Wilson said. “There was no fraud.”
The judge entered it by default without your side of the story being heard? Sounds like JP either has some shitty attorneys, or those attorneys have a shitty, irresponsible douche bag for a client.
Anyway, you can watch the full report over at Channel 25 and dig through the lawsuit yourself on OSCN.
With other Lookout Kitchen lawsuits still pending and plenty of money, blame and bad decisions left to sort out, I doubt this is the last weird chapter in the saga.
Stay with The Lost Ogle. We’ll keep you advised.
