In the 17-year history of this site, I’ve received a lot of shocking, vulgar, and wildly inappropriate photos in the TLO inbox.
Some of the more memorable greatest hits include:
• A revealing mirror selfie of former Thunder marksman Daquan Cook that confirmed certain racial stereotypes.
• An uncensored shot of rowdy OU sorority girls that confirmed every “college girl gone wild” cliché.
• A deeply unfortunate screengrab of Ryan Walters’s gay porn school-choice bro Corey DeAngelis starring in a film that confirmed every closeted, hypocritical gay GOP projection.
• And, of course: Bulge Ibaka.

Although I genuinely appreciate our readers thinking of us when they stumble across questionable content, I do have one small favor to ask – please, in Gary England’s name, do NOT send us an inappropriate photo of local realtor couple Denise and Troy Schroder taking a shower.
I bring this up because, according to Denise and Troy’s (trust issues alert!) shared Facebook page, people are apparently threatening to do exactly that:

Look — outside of nagging people to pay 20 cents a day to read our content, I don’t ask much from our readers, Moles, and tipsters. But if this photo exists, will you please please please keep it to yourself?
Here are three reasons why:

1. It reeks of a staged publicity stunt or prank
The Schroders have popped up on many pay-to-play realtor reality shows over the years, and as Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, and half of 2000s reality TV taught us, it’s not uncommon for the desperately famous to leak “compromising” content just to snag headlines.
Then again, maybe this ploy is more focused — perhaps they’re just angling for SEO hits from folks Googling info about the nudist colony in Stroud. You never know.
–

2. I really, truly, absolutely do not want to see an uncensored pic of two people in their 50s who look like they fell out of a Visit Edmond brochure getting sudsy.
As any realtor will tell you, bathrooms have shower curtains for a reason, and it’s not to protect the tile.
-
3. They already posted a censored version!

Who cares about the photo. The real story here is that realtors are now using the same desperate Facebook engagement bait tactics as influencers, websites and TV news pages. Instead of rewarding them, can Zuckerberg start punishing all these “Click Link In Comments For Full Story” posts? I know he’s one of the worst humans alive, but it’s not too much to ask.
Anyway, whether this is some “satirical” stunt, an orchestrated PR ploy, or there is an actual shocking photo of the couple floating around Zillow — if you do have it, please keep it to yourself.
One again, I genuinely appreciate our loyal readers — and clout-chasing realtors — thinking of us in these moments, but it’s just not necessary. If anything, forward it to Yawn Doc. I’m sure they could use some interesting content.
Stay with The Lost Ogle. We’ll keep you advised.
