It's hard to believe, but severe weather season is only a couple of months away. I don't know if the weather is going to be deadly or dangerous, but either way, expect our local TV news media to do everything they can to make it feel that way.
As they wait for the season to arrive, TV meteorologists, stormchasers and insurance adjusters have been looking for ways to kill time. Here at KFOR, Emily Sutton has been redecorating her She-Shed to match the 2017 Pantone color of the year – Greenery. Additionally, Mike Morgan and Aaron Brackett have been spending a lot of time in the chopper hanger tinkering with Mike's new weather machine. I think it's going to be called Bob Howard Destroyer 4. They're hoping for an April launch.
KFOR employees aren't the only ones staying busy. Some guy that runs an obscure local weather meme Facebook page put together this weird video of Mike Morgan, David Payne, Damon Lane our pal A.T.
Check it out:
Yeah, I totally dedicated a post to that video. I apologize. Just like all the other people who exploit and profit from weather coverage, I had some time to kill.
Anyway, what are your predictions for this year's severe weather season? Will we have some maxi-wedges? How many severe weather dongs will Damon Lane make? Will Gary England turn David Payne into a newt? These are questions that must be answered.
