I don’t really care much for endorsements, but I figured I’d defy myself and encourage all TLO readers in the Fifth Congressional District to go vote for Jena Nelson today.
I’m doing this for three reasons.

1. Jena seems like a good person who genuinely wants to help people and make Oklahoma a better place. That probably disqualifies her from holding federal office in this state, but I’m willing to overlook it.
2. Jena is not Stephanie Bice – a rank-and-file Trump enabler who lacks a spine, puts party over country, and continually sells out lower- and middle-class Americans for the wealthy and corporations.
3. Jena is a TLO reader! We know this because she followed our advice and dressed up as Count Nelson for Halloween!
