We have great news for those who think dangerous, reckless criminals should receive adequate punishment for their crimes.
Last month we learned that Sara Polston – the infamous Botoxed boozer who nearly killed Micaela Borrego in a drunk-driving accident, and then sparked international outrage when Kevin Stitt helped score her an early release from prison – was heading back to the slammer after she stupidly, moronically, and very illegally voted in the Oklahoma primary elections.
At the time, we laughed at her comic stupidity and openly mused about how this would affect her early release from prison:
I guess the big question now is what this means for Polston’s early-release arrangement.
I’m going to assume one of the basic conditions of getting sprung from an eight-year prison sentence after only 73 days is something along the lines of “don’t commit any more crimes,” and illegally voting in two elections seems like a pretty effective way to test that particular clause.
Does this mean there’s a chance Sara returns to prison to finish out her sentence for nearly killing Micaela Borrego, and some weird karmic order is restored to the universe? Or does it mean Stitt’s going to have to simply pull a few more strings and find another creative way to keep her out?
At least for now, let’s score one for karmic order!
According to this report by Nolan Clay in The Oklahoman, it looks like the sweetheart ankle monitoring deal that Stitt helped set up for her is now null and void, and Sara isn’t set to be released until December 2033:
