Sara Polston sent back to prison!!!

10:23 AM EDT on October 2, 2026

Yesterday evening, the Oklahoma City media exploded with the news that Sara Polston – the infamous Botoxed boozer who caused outrage and controversy after she was granted early release from prison thanks to her buddy Governor Stitt – was sent back to prison.

Her crime? Voting!

Here are details via The Oklahoman:

The admitted drunk driver whose release from prison caused a public uproar has been locked up again.

Sara Polston went home on Feb. 19, just 73 days into an eight-year prison sentence, after being placed on an ankle monitor.

She was returned to prison on Thursday, Oct. 1, after she allegedly voted illegally twice in statewide elections, authorities said.

Polston, a Republican, voted in the primary election June 16 and the runoff primary election Aug. 25, according to online records at the Oklahoma State Election Board…

Polston is considered ineligible to vote because she is a convicted felon. Under state law, a person who "willfully" votes at an election "knowing that he or she is not eligible to vote" is deemed guilty of a felony.

Two quick thoughts. A – That’s hysterical! B – What a dumbass! She should be sent back to jail based on her stupidity alone! Seriously, all she had to do was stay out of trouble and keep her nose clean, and she went out and illegally voted in a partisan primary election? That’s about the lamest way to lose the get-out-of-jail-free card the governor gave you.

Anyway, I guess the big question now is what this means for Polston’s early-release arrangement.

I’m going to assume one of the basic conditions of getting sprung from an eight-year prison sentence after only 73 days is something along the lines of “don’t commit any more crimes,” and illegally voting in two elections seems like a pretty effective way to test that particular clause.

Does this mean there’s a chance Sara returns to prison to finish out her sentence for nearly killing Micaela Borrego, and some weird karmic order is restored to the universe? Or does it mean Stitt’s going to have to simply pull a few more strings and find another creative way to keep her out?

I guess we’ll find out.
