Last week, we were second on the scene and on the story to let you know that State Rep. Danny Williams – a recent recipient of the Defender of Biblical Business Award – is being investigated by the House of Representatives for alleged “improper conduct” toward House staffers.
As a result, Williams was stripped of some of his titles and moved to a closet-sized office on the House’s fifth floor. He’s also facing possible expulsion from office.
Remember that?
Since our initial report, the traditional news media has jumped on the case.
Just a few days ago, KFOR anchor/reporter Dylan Brown caught up with Williams – a supporter of child marriage – outside an office building and asked about the investigation.
With his patriotic Canadian Valley Electric Cooperative hat strapped tightly around his head, Williams, for the most part, played really dumb and insisted he doesn’t have a photographic memory.
Here’s a transcript via KFOR:
Do you know any of the complaints at all?
“Well, it’s hard for me to say what they are. When it was read to me, let’s say, six weeks ago. Well, I don’t have a photographic memory. Okay. And so I don’t know exactly. I know some of the things,” responded Rep. Williams.
Improper conduct with a staffer. Did that happen?
“I have no idea what that means, and I have I. And as far as I know, I’ve never broken any rules. I’ve never broken any law. I’ve always tried to be professional. That doesn’t mean everybody’s happy with me, but it means that I’ve tried to be appropriate, professional in what I’ve done,” replied Rep. Williams.
Well, that clears everything up! Williams has no idea what “improper conduct” means, but he’s pretty sure all of his conduct was proper! I guess we can go ahead and call off the investigation. Nothing to see here!
Or maybe not.
Although Williams may not be able to recall any details about the investigation, the Ogle Moles I spoke with sure do!
According to them, at least one accuser came forward a few months ago with a complaint about something Williams allegedly said or did at the Capitol.
In accordance with House policy, a formal investigation was quickly launched, and the accuser’s account was reportedly corroborated by other witnesses. Some of those witnesses apparently had troubling Williams stories of their own that, when taken together, describe a mix of inappropriate comments and other degrading or unprofessional behavior that would get you fired from any office – outside of the Oval one – in 2026.
When investigators confronted Williams with all of this, he reportedly became combative and belligerent, and, in the process of trying to guess his accuser, may have inadvertently directed investigators toward other potential victims!
But, to be clear, that’s just what Ogle Moles are telling me.
Although they’re rarely wrong, maybe they – along with Williams’ accuser – made it all up, and Williams is innocent of all accusations.
To be fair, he does claim there’s nothing “sexual” involved:
There’s nothing sexual involved in the allegations?
“No. Absolutely not. I go home. I love my wife. I’m a family man. I’m a follower of God. I do things that are right. And no, I haven’t done any of that stuff,” replied Williams.
What are some of the accusations?
“Well, I don’t have a photographic memory. And so I don’t know exactly. I know some of the things,” said Williams.
You said you knew some of them. What were those? That’s what I’m asking.
“No, but there again, I was told in that meeting not to discuss this,” replied Williams.
Well, there you have it. He goes home, loves his wife and follows God. It’s a shame none of those activities prevent you from acting like a creep at work, huh?
For what it’s worth, I’m guessing Williams may not be showing up for work at the Capitol much longer.
According to one Mole, the allegations and evidence against him are so overwhelming that, at this point, his resignation or expulsion is basically a formality.
Apparently, House leadership doesn’t hire outside investigators, strip a lawmaker of his chairmanships and office, and then publicly announce an investigation because they’re still trying to decide whether anything happened.
By the time things reach this stage, the conclusion is usually already sitting on someone’s desk. The only remaining question is whether Williams reads the room and resigns on his own, or forces his colleagues to drag him out of the Capitol kicking, screaming and insisting he still has no idea what “improper conduct” means.
