Update! Mike Mazzei to officially debate Gentner in August…

Remember that article I wrote yesterday about Mike Mazzei dodging that debate against Gentner Drummond?

Despite the quality of some of my jokes and observations, ignore most of it.

Yesterday evening – just 12 hours after William H.P. Nathaniel Archibald “Tres” Savage the III and IVth whined about Mike Mazzei declining YawnDoc and KSWO’s request for a televised debate – News 9 announced they’ll be hosting a special GOP runoff debate between the two candidates, and that they need your help asking questions:

First of all, the fact that Mazzei is debating Gentner shows the race is closer than I initially thought.

That’s good to see! I don’t care who wins. I just want a good game!

Second, in yesterday’s article, I talked about how nothing good could come from another debate for Mazzei, so it’s cool to see him walk into Gentner’s arena and take on the challenge.

Not only will it give him an opportunity to explain his policies, brag about his Trump endorsement, and prove he can answer questions without sounding half drunk, but maybe there’s a chance we’ll get to see him troll Amanda Taylor!

That still cracks me up every time I watch it.

Seriously, I wonder what Tres did to earn Mike’s ire?

First, Mike taunts him at the debate. Then he refuses to attend his debate! Next week, I wouldn’t be surprised to learn Mazzei is the one sabotaging Tres’s attempt to set up a Trump account:

Anyway, we’ll probably have more about the debate later, but I guess if you have questions for the candidates, send them to News 9. They did a decent job with the last debate, so maybe we’ll get lucky and see something mildly interesting again.
