There’s a new update in this week’s episode of As the Walters Turns.
Yesterday, Katie Walters filed her response to Ryan Walters’s recent divorce petition, and if you’re looking for anything fun, exciting, vicious, salacious or vaguely worthy of a cliffhanger, prepare to be disappointed.
Seriously, this thing was about as spicy as a package of sandwich bread. The only mildly interesting part is that Katie requested alimony, but even that was done in the politest, most lawyerly way possible:
I’ve been critical of Ryan a time or two hundred on this site over the years, but I’ll give him and Katie credit for apparently getting their shit in order and making this process as kind and amicable as possible.
Seriously, divorce sucks and good for them for keeping things cool. It almost feels like they knew this would be a big story and were smart enough to get the basics negotiated and planned out ahead of time.
Although that’s great for them and their kids, I have to admit it’s pretty boring from a tabloid-news angle.
Can’t they throw the media a bone and make at least one salacious accusation? Even better, why doesn’t Ryan issue one of his trademark car-video selfies blaming teachers unions, the radical left and woke librarians for creating “irreconcilable differences?”
We deserve that, right?
Anyway, this is the third story we’ve filed about Ryan’s divorce this week, so we should probably move on to other subjects for a while. If you want to read Katie’s divorce filing, you can read it below.
