An arrest has been made in the News 9 Peeping Tom incident.
Thanks to a tip via the Ogle Mole Network, we’ve learned that former News 9 chief photographer Darrell Vannostran – yes, Seinfeld fans, that’s his real-life last name – was arrested this morning on a felony charge of “use of photo or video equipment in a clandestine manner in a private place," after he allegedly placed hidden cameras in the station's men's and women's dressing rooms.
He’s currently being held in the Oklahoma County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
Here’s his disturbing mugshot:

Holy shit! Was he trying to look as creepy as possible in the mugshot, or does he just have a resting creep face? I know you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, but something tells me he has more things hidden than just cameras and SD cards!
Vannostran has deleted his LinkedIn page, so I’m not 100% sure how long he worked for News 9 or served as their chief photographer, but I’m hearing it was about three years. From what I’ve gathered, he was considered a bit creepy and unusual, which is kind of supported by some of his online pics:

Hey, I’m not saying everyone who looks like they’re into Norwegian death metal is a creep, but you have to admit the guy looks the part.
Once I heard Vannostran was arrested, I asked OKCPD for his police report. There’s honestly not a lot in it, but it shows that Vannostran’s alleged hidden cameras were discovered on the morning of 3/23 by News 9 staff, who promptly removed them and placed them in brown paper bags.
There’s also an affidavit at the courthouse, but it’s not available online. When we get our hands on it, we’ll update things below.
Until then, stay with The Lost Ogle. We’ll keep you advised.
