I hate giving other Internet provocateurs attention, so I’ve gone out of my way over the years not to dedicate an entire article to the infamous "First Amendment auditor” Ron Durbin.
He's the disbarred weed lawyer / congressional candidate who roams the state like a Tasmanian Devil filming confrontations with public officials for his Guerrilla Publishing accounts.

But now that Ron’s a) announced he’s running for CD-1 and b) starred in a racist video released by the Oklahoma Department of Corrections, I guess I’ll have to give in and acknowledge that, yes, he exists!
In case you missed it, the Oklahoma Department of Corrections released a video earlier this week showing Durbin going on a racist tirade against a Black employee, repeatedly calling the individual a “house slave” and other racist garbage.
The video is very indicative of who Ron Durbin is as a person and probably why you shouldn’t follow him as a “journalist” or vote for him as a U.S. congressman. You can view it below:
⚠️ CONTENT WARNING: Offensive and racist language
— Oklahoma Department of Corrections (@OklaDOC) April 5, 2026
ODOC strongly condemns the racist and abusive language directed at one of our correctional officers yesterday by disbarred attorney Ron Durbin during a so-called “First Amendment audit” with Sean Buckner. pic.twitter.com/HOLCVcPqPx
Yikes. I know Ron Durbin likes to cross lines, say outrageous things, and pull wild publicity stunts, but I had no clue he was also a racist piece of shit. That’s good to know.
Also, kudos to the DOC employee for not taking the bait and/or kicking Ron’s ass.
While Durbin was shouting racist garbage, the guy stayed calm and professional. Although I do feel bad he had to suffer through that tirade, at least one good thing came from it – the video apparently got Ron’s Guerrilla Publishing account removed from Facebook.

Anyway, around the same time the video was released, a citizen journalist also dropped a Ron Durbin takedown piece that would make the “The Lost Ogle is Bad for Oklahoma” guy proud.
If you want to be an informed voter, I suggest you check it out. It reads like a greatest hits compilation of Durbin’s biggest controversies, lawsuits, and ethics issues. You can view it here.
Stay with The Lost Ogle. We’ll keep you advised.
