Hidden Cameras Discovered in News 9 Dressing Rooms!

For the second time in the last year, an Oklahoma City TV station has been hit by an alleged Peeping Tom!

As we reported in last week’s Dumpster Fire, we have learned via The Ogle Mole Network that the Oklahoma City Police Department is apparently investigating a pair of hidden cameras found in the News 9 men’s and women’s dressing rooms.

Here was the initial tip:

As always, it looks like the Ogle Mole Network was right.

According to a search warrant affidavit we acquired from a high-level Mole, the cameras were discovered on March 24th by a janitorial crew.

Here are the details via the warrant:

On 03-24-2026, I was notified Griffin Media personnel had contacted the Oklahoma City Police Department to report unauthorized photographic/video equipment had been discovered in private dressing room areas within the Griffin Media building located at 100 W Main Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73102 (within Oklahoma County). I responded to the business and arrived at approximately 10:00.

At the scene, Griffin Media personnel gave law enforcement custody of two photographic/video cameras and two portable battery packs. Both cameras had micro-SD cards (digital media storage) inserted, and Velcro was affixed to all four items (cameras and battery packs).

Griffin Media personnel reported the janitorial staff had discovered the cameras hidden within two separate dressing rooms. The cameras and battery packs had been found mounted to adhesive Velcro strips underneath clothing racks within the rooms. I observed the dressing rooms and the opposing adhesive Velcro strips still in place under the clothing racks. The cameras had clearly been mounted in a clandestine manner in an area where one would have a reasonable expectation of privacy.

The cameras and battery packs were transported from Griffin Media to the Oklahoma City Police Headquarters building at 700 Colcord Drive, Oklahoma City, OK 73102 (within Oklahoma County), where they were booked with the Computer Forensic Unit.

Based on the aforementioned details, your Affiant respectfully requests a search warrant be issued for the above listed property, for the purpose of recovering evidence of the commission of Peeping Tom – Use of Photo or Video Equipment in Clandestine Manner in Private Place - 21 O.S. § 1171.B, as set forth in Chapter 24, Title 22 of the Oklahoma Statutes.

Respectfully submitted,

Investigator Jonathon Davis

For what it’s worth, yesterday we contacted the OKCPD for all police reports and other open records regarding the discovery of the cameras, but were told no open records currently exist. I assume they said that due to this being an active investigation. Who knows. Either way, they did say they would let us know if there’s an arrest:

On the topic of an “arrest,” according to our sources, the primary suspect is, surprisingly enough, not Dean Blevins, but a different award-winning News 9 employee. Apparently, this person has either been fired or placed on leave, and as of publishing time, hasn't been arrested or charged.

Anyway, as you can probably imagine, the privacy violation has rattled people inside the News 9 offices.

Multiple sources tell us some News 9 employees are not only concerned about what may have been recorded on video, but also what may have been captured on audio.

After all, when you think you’re in a private dressing room, you tend to let your guard down a bit – whether that’s changing clothes, venting about work, or saying something you’d rather not have documented and stored on a micro-SD card.

We’ll continue to follow this story and provide updates as they come up.
