Kevin Stitt makes it on Career Ladder…

For a guy who makes a living on the Internet, I’m blissfully and intentionally uninformed when it comes to internet pop culture. I rarely browse TikTok, can’t name you one Twitch creator, and the only podcast I regularly listen to is – or at least was – my own.

As a result of this internet illiteracy, I’ve never heard of Career Ladder with Max Klymenko – a web series where a guy from Europe stands on a ladder and guesses people’s careers in two minutes while interviewing them. It’s a concept that's amassed him 9-million followers.

You know, this really reminds me that I need to get to work on my new streaming series Career Gutter – a concept where I interview real-life people while standing in a real-life storm gutter and guess their biggest career mistakes and compare them to mine. I’m going to be rich and famous someday, I tell you!

Anyway, I guess Max was at the park chilling on his ladder in some unknown location next to a huge mountain a month or two ago when some tall, kind of dopey guy with an American accent walked up and said that, in his job, 4 million people count on him.

Intrigued, Max Klymenko then unknowingly invited the man onto his ladder and…

Yeah, I could see Kevin saying 4 million people tolerate him, put up with him, or get by in spite of him, but count on him? I don’t think so. If he was that important, the dude wouldn’t be appearing on internet shows while vacationing in the mountains thousands of miles away!

Anyway, the whole interview was kind of boring. The anoying part was seeing Kevin's weird narcissistic complex on display. I also like how Max, a Ukrainian, still managed to know more about American geography than the typical Oklahoma high school student. That was impressive.

Anyway, I guess I should wrap this post up and learn more about online creator culture so this stuff doesn’t slip by me. First item on the agenda – watching a video of some influencer getting mobbed at Penn Square last weekend.
