TLO Announces Enthusiastic Grassroots Support For ‘Save Oklahoma Plan’…

Last week, I was reading through an article in Oklahoma Watch about a rich lawmaker’s effort to force something called the Save Oklahoma Plan onto the scene for the 2026 legislative session and gubernatorial race.

For the most part, it seems like your run-of-the-mill pandering conservative policy package that acts as the carrot to distract people from more important policy issues, but once you dig into the details and cash incentives, you realize it’s actually a badass plan that will totally move Oklahoma forward and make us the very goodest place to live in 'Murica.

Via Oklahoma Watch:

A freshman Oklahoma lawmaker who upset a powerful House Republican incumbent last year is trying to turn grassroots energy into a broader policy movement, rolling out a seven-point conservative agenda that has already drawn support from several statewide candidates ahead of the 2026 elections.

The seven-point plan, which Shaw released in the summer, focuses on eliminating taxpayer-funded lobbying, anti-renewable energy policies, investigating turnpikes, and opposing vaccine mandates. Shaw said he tested the ideas through a statewide poll of Republican primary voters, finding all seven items “overwhelmingly favorable” with the base.

See what I mean?! That’s awesome stuff! I can’t wait to save Oklahoma by… helping ensure our people are less vaccinated from disease? Is this the Save Oklahoma Plan or simply a sly pitch to get RFK Jr. to move here?!

Hehe. Just kidding. I bet people, businesses and even viruses will have to get in line to move here once this plan becomes reality. Sure, that will likely be due to the state’s turnpikes being shut down as lawmakers investigate and expose the OTA, but where this state is going, we don’t need roads!

Here’s the full seven-point plan:

  • Fight the Green Energy Agenda
  • Prohibit Agricultural Use of Biosolid Waste
  • Criminalize Hostile Foreign Ownership of Land
  • Mandatory E-Verify for All Businesses
  • End Perpetual Toll Roads & Expose the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority
  • Stop Discrimination Based on Vaccination Status
  • End Taxpayer-Funded Lobbying

Sure, it may ignore important issues that most Oklahomans actually care about, like skyrocketing home insurance rates, teacher shortages, and the crumbling wall between church and state, but that’s a solid list.

It will definitely save the state, or at the very least, prevent us from becoming one of those ugly, broken blue states that have higher-paying jobs, better access to healthcare, and affordable home insurance rates.

We must do it!

“Patrick, I see what you're doing. This is satire, right?"

Sorry. This is real and totally genuine.

Once upon a time, I was a left-wing raging liberal, but now that I’ve done my proverbial research, I realize I was 100% misguided and – like all other liberals – simply duped by the global cabal of George Soros, Hillary Clinton, and all the other liberal lizard people who, obviously, are pedophile sex traffickers who hate America.

Plus, I could really use $100,000!

Instead of pitching the Save Oklahoma Plan directly to GOP candidates, Shaw said he took a bottom-up approach, sharing it first with more than a dozen conservative grassroots organizations across the state…

Shaw committed up to $100,000 to help grassroots groups promote the Save Oklahoma Plan. The money is to boost message advocacy, not to support or oppose any particular candidate.

“My commitment to them was, ‘Hey, if you’re willing to sign on to the plan and support it and want to take the extra step, I’m happy to provide a donation to your group specifically for that messaging,’” Shaw said. “It wasn’t a requirement; it was just there if they wanted it.”

Yep, that's right! Nothing says genuine grassroots support quite like a rich lawmaker paying people $100,000 to support his seven-point right-wing policy plan!

Hell, for that much, he could toss in some right-wing Christian National stuff to make it a 10-point plan and I’d still support it!

In fact, to prove my loyalty, I'm going to donate a Save Oklahoma Plan advertising campaign to run on this site:

Although we totally have 100% genuine support for this plan, the article isn’t very clear on how we claim our $100,000 grassroots advocacy payment. Do we send an invoice and document it, or is this still done the old-school Gene Stipe way and treated like an under-the-table bribe?

While we figure that out, we look forward to being conservatives this year and – once the check cashes – saving Oklahoma by helping make it a polluted, unvaccinated, turnpike-free hellhole that ships away its human excrement to be spread in other states.
