You know how there’s a negative stereotype out there that cops are nothing more than volatile, power-hungry bullies with anger-management issues who have no business being in law enforcement?
Well, I guess we can thank Pawnee County Sheriff Shawn Price for reminding us why that one exists!
Earlier this week, body-cam footage was released to the public showing Price – one of only a handful of Oklahoma sheriffs who doesn’t have facial hair – confronting a pair of City of Cleveland police officers with an F-bomb tirade that would make Susie from Curb Your Enthusiasm blush.
Apparently, the Cleveland cops were serving a warrant in Price’s jurisdiction. Price got wind of it at the last second and lost his mind that his office wasn’t notified – even though, according to reports, they actually were.
Ether way, he stormed to the rendezvous point like a mushroom-cloud-laying motherfucker, yelling and cussing at anyone who would listen.
Yikes! Who shit in his Post Toasties that morning?! Lay off the steroids and Brawndo, officer.
Although Price did an excellent job reinforcing the stereotype that cops are volatile dicks, I’d like to commend the Cleveland police officers for showing some restraint. Sure, that’s probably because Price was an armed Tasmanian cannonball and not a defenseless minority civilian, but hey – restraint is restraint.
