Chode Boy Claims Dumb OU Student is “American Hero”

The moronic saga of Samantha Fulnecky – the dumb, right-wing OU student who turned overnight MAGA influencer thanks to a very blatant publicity stunt that showcased her terrible writing and reasoning skills – won’t go away.

Despite OU sheepishly taking her side in the situation, she’s become a star on the right-wing propaganda circuit, eagerly appearing on any cable news outlet or podcast that will have her to share her alleged victimhood, and espouse what it’s like to be targeted by the “radical transgendered left” for simply talking about God in an essay paper.

Well, at least that’s what they’re spinning to the right-wing MAGA choir.

Smart, sane people like us – a.k.a. people who haven’t had their brains drained by decades of Christian Nationalist political propaganda – know that Samantha actually got an F because her essay was terrible and was likely part of a contrived publicity stunt designed to both offend and gain attention. But whatever… like reality really matters anymore.

Yesterday, Samantha was the guest of honor at the conservative circle-jerk OCPAC Foundation – a loose collection of anti-government right-wing radicals, Christian Nationalists, and other Republican types who likely cheered on the protesters on January 6th – to discuss the incident and other right-wing culture issues of the day.

But…

Before she could do any of that, the group forced attendees to suffer through a ???-minute video of Ryan Walters rambling off some of his greatest hits – you know, “Marxist teacher unions,” “Fake news media,” etc. – while also referring to Samantha as a “rock star” and “an absolute American hero standing up for her Christian faith against these radical leftists that continue to try to force wokism on the next generation.”

The video is below. If you ask me, the best part was when the video concluded and the people in attendance gave only a smattering of applause.

I would never go so far as to say that I miss Ryan Walters – hearing his nasally voice does make me want to throw up in my mouth a little – but I will admit that I do miss making fun of the schlock. I don’t know who is pulling his strings – he was in Mar-A-Lago, so it has to be somebody of importance – but I hope they keep him in the public eye for old times' sake.

After Ryan’s dumb video, Samantha took the stage and talked to a pair of old white dudes. If you, for some reason, want to watch that, you can do it over there.

Anyway, it will be interesting to see where Samantha’s path takes her now that she’s become a bona fide right-wing influencer, which, once again, I think was her (and her mom’s) plan the entire time.

You have to wonder: will she stay at OU and settle back into the hard and rough life of being a young, nubile Spirit Girl who plays on the tennis team, or will she seize her fame, start offering MyPillow promo codes, and make speaking engagements at various Turning Point rallies, conferences, and other propaganda meet-ups?

If she does go the influencer route, I hope she polishes her act a little bit.

Conservatives love to show off the young ones they’ve groomed, and she’s definitely cute and pretty enough to make it, but she can come off about as engaged as a sorority girl eating with her grandparents at Cracker Barrel. I really hope her mom can book her some private lessons to improve that, otherwise she may remain on the B-stage.
