Oops. In our rush to roast the glaring omissions from the OKC Monopoly board, we apparently overlooked the biggest one of all!
Thanks to a hot tip from the Ogle Mole Network, we’ve learned the much-hyped and ballyhooed OKC Monopoly board features a photo of the downtown Tulsa skyline. Yes, Tulsa. Right there in the upper corner of the board, near the “Free Parking” area.
Check this out:

For those who don't live here, or work for Hasbro, that's not downtown OKC. That's the Tulsa skyline.

Notice those buildings on the right? They're on the board!

There are gaffes, and then there are gaffes. I’d put this squarely in the italics gaffes category. Like… how do you screw this up? Did nobody at OCCC, Hasbro, or the Chamber bother to look up from their generic stock photo folder?
Anyway, couple quick questions. They’re obviously going to have to fix this, so does that make the unopened boxes sitting in stores now valuable collector’s editions? Are we talking eBay gold, or more like the Labubu retirement plan?
Also, is Mayor Holt going to acknowledge this? And if he does, will Tulsa mayor Monroe Nichols – a two-time TLO podcast guest – fire off some friendly trash-talk? You have to admit, this gives Tulsa a few points in the Turnpike rivalry.
Stay with The Lost Ogle. We’ll keep you advised.
