New feature alert!
Here at TLO, there’s lots that runs across the newsdesk each week that, for whatever lazy excuse or reason, doesn’t get the full TLO treatment.
Instead of letting this waste away into eternal oblivion, we’re going to start sharing items in the weekly Friday Dumpster Fire – a subscribers-only collection of news stories, blind items, reader tips, and other things we’re monitoring, watching, or reading but didn’t (or haven’t) covered.
This first one is just going to be a collection of news links, but our goal is to make this more interactive. If you have something you’d like to throw on the fire, leave a comment or email us at tips@thelostogle.com.

Stitt Grants Clemency to Tremane Wood
Say what you want about Stitt, but he’s shown to be a reasonable man when it comes to commuting the sentences of people who — despite being on death row — have maintained their innocence and probably weren’t the actual killer.

Edmond Attorney Arrested for Stalking Teenage Girls
Lock this guy up and throw away the key!
I found the attorney’s LinkedIn page, and — naturally — one of his only comments has to do with online stalking techniques:

Add “toxic cloud of death” to the growing list of Oklahoma natural disasters that can get you. The event has sickened dozens — some critically — and has left the entire town smelling like a Love’s bathroom.

Kiowa Code Talkers Finally Inducted Into Oklahoma Military Hall of Fame
Considering they literally helped protect this country from evil, this feels, oh, about 75 years too late, but it’s nice to see these dearly departed heroes finally honored.

#foioklahoma By Nuria Martinez-Keel, oklahomavoice.com: During Walters’ final weeks as state superintendent, the Education Department denied that he had a state-owned vehicle, and the agency therefore refused to provide records of his vehicle usage to Oklahoma Voice.

Local Media Investigating Ryan Walters' Car Use
According to KFOR, it looks like Ryan Walters was either using a car registered to an assistant for personal use, or his assistant was spending a lot of time at Ryan Walters’s house. Nothing would surprise us. Either way, we’re trying to get our hands on the car records and should have a full TLO investigation soon.

Ryan Walters’ promised investigations into schools that didn’t honor Charlie Kirk never happened, records show.

Ryan Didn’t Really Care About the Charlie Kirk Thing
Remember a couple of months ago when our nation was arguing and bickering about what people were allowed to say following the death of Charlie Kirk? Ryan Walters vowed to investigate all schools and educators and go after anyone who dared say something non-praiseful about the fallen propagandist — and, naturally, those threats were false.

New Faith Wants Taxpayer Money for Religious Private School
Add the Jews to the ever-growing list of faiths that want to use Oklahoma taxpayer dollars to proselytize and indoctrinate students into their ancient religion. Like the Catholics’ quest, I’m sure this new attempt to essentially steal from taxpayers in order to fund a religion will go nowhere — but then again, these groups may have God on their side, so anything’s possible.

Tenants in Oklahoma are often left without representation in eviction proceedings, but attorneys and advocates argue that if tenants were better represented and able to go before the judge, there could be more positive outcomes for them.https://t.co/Slrl6G6knQ pic.twitter.com/YlmaSPQRpe

You may have seen this last weekend... OKC Fire rescued a man trapped 20 feet down in a manhole near the I-44 Chandler exit. The victim's brother posted on GoFundMe that during a traffic tie-up, he went into a field for a bathroom break and fell in. 🧵https://t.co/qKd7yhsp6l pic.twitter.com/1PcgEqeFxI
