The Illuminati needs to pick better basketball players to track and monitor!
That’s the first thing that popped into my head after reading Nolan Clay’s recent interview with Kyle Singler in the new and improved Oklahoman.
If you remember correctly, Singler — the former OKC air-mailer who may have accidentally traded basketball skills with that kid from Thunderstruck — was arrested in Buttcrack, Oklahoma last week after he reportedly attempted to strangle and threatened to rape his ex-girlfriend.
The arrest, combined with the grainy, hostage-style social videos Kyle released on social media last year, paints a sad picture of a promising young athlete turned into a drug-addled man who’s in serious need of mental-health treatment to address his issues — an image that was reinforced by the interview.
“These are all moments in time,” the former Detroit Pistons and Oklahoma City Thunder small forward said in an interview Oct. 29. “I don't care about what people think.”
He denied assaulting his girlfriend. “I'm not a bad person,” he told The Oklahoman.
He also said the “deep state” is targeting him. “Absolutely. I have been posting it on my social media,” he added.
Asked why, he said, “Because I have money, I have a voice, and I have influence.”
I hate to break this to Kyle. He may have money, and he may have a voice, but the only influence he has is serving as a poster child for drug abuse and the need for mental-health treatment.
On that note, should The Oklahoman really be giving this guy a platform? I know it’s a literal Catch-22 – you have to be crazy to give a crazy person a platform, but the only way to tell if someone is crazy is to give them a platform – but the guy is obviously off his rocker.
Just check this out:
Singler also blamed his criminal charge on “controllers” who, he said, act behind the scenes in society.
“People that have power run the show here in the States and around the world. It's just how it goes,” he said. “There's a hierarchy and ... people that are down on the bottom don't get any say-so.
“The government doesn't run our country. Governments don't run the world,” he said. “We're all being suppressed. We're all being taken advantage of ... It's called the deep state.”
“You believe in the deep state?” he was asked.
“Absolutely. And if you don't, you're uninformed,” he replied. “It exists, man. I've seen it. I've experienced it. I know what I'm talking about.”
I have no clue if there’s a Deep State or not, but based on everything I’ve heard — and the people who oppose it — it honestly seems like a pretty cool organization!
Seriously, you’re telling me you get to control the world, drive a black Tahoe, and torment random NBA players who sucked at basketball just for fun? Grab a copy of The Da Vinci Code and count me in. Deep State, here I come!
As I mentioned earlier, Kyle denied the recent charges in the interview:
His girlfriend reported “Mr. Singler wanted to have sex with her and she refused, so Mr. Singler stated he would just rape her and then started assaulting her,” a sheriff's deputy wrote in a court affidavit.
Singler appeared to be under the influence of possible narcotics, Sheriff Lt. Mitch Dobbs wrote. He described seeing the outline of Singler's fingers on the girlfriend's face and marks on her arm from her struggle to get away.
The deputy went to Whitefield after a 911 dispatcher told him the woman was running from her boyfriend outside the residence and “the boyfriend was chasing her and trying to get the child,” according to the affidavit.
Singler claims he acted in self-defense. He said he was not under the influence of anything.
“I never have done anything violent to anybody in my life,” he said. “I was just trying to protect myself.”
So, who do you believe? The woman with finger outlines on her face who called the police fearing for her life — or the piece-of-shit ex-athlete who’s confident this is all part of a Deep State conspiracy to bring him down?
Anyway, you can read Kyle’s whole interview with Nolan Clay over at The Oklahoman. I hope his (hopefully ex-)girlfriend is okay, and that someday Kyle gets the proper mental-health treatment he desperately needs., and or the Deep State starts taking it easy on him and gives him back his basketball powers.
Stay with The Lost Ogle. We’ll keep you advised.
