Marcuswayne Goes Woke on Young Republicans Chat Scandal…

Screenshot

It looks like a broken clock – or brain – is still right twice per day!

Earlier this week, Marcuswayne Mullin – the blue-collar, multi-millionaire everyman who roto-rooted his way to the U.S. Senate – made one of his regular propaganda appearances on the cable news circuit to talk about the government shutdown, President Trump, and other idiocratic topics of the day.

One of those topics was the Young Republican texting scandal. You know, the one where some dumb Young Republican kids were caught making light of gas chambers, rape, slavery, and other giggly topics in group chats and message chains.

Specifically, Peter Giunta – president of the New York Young Republicans – joked that “everyone who votes no is going to the gas chamber,” while others called rape “epic” and swapped racist memes and slurs.

Somewhat shockingly – and concerningly – instead of brushing off the remarks, making excuses, or simply deflecting and attacking old reliable Chuck Schumer, Mullin went full woke and said the party will address them. He even said that he – a loving father who monitors the words of his children – would never allow his kids to joke around that way.

Check this out:

Holy crap! Is this real life? Did Marcuswayne Mullin just answer a culture-war-based question with a little class and dignity – and instead of using it as an opportunity to pivot and attack Dems – respond by reflecting on his own memories and experiences and how they shape his thinking?

“Yes, Patrick. It sure seems like it!”

I have to say, isn’t that a bit fucking odd?

Out of all the people in the U.S. Senate you’d think would try to defend the stupid, outrageous, and wildly inappropriate things young men say and do in private text message conversations, it would be Marcuswayne Mullin. Instead, he’s going full wokie and crying about Hershey bars like he just watched Empire of the Sun!

It makes me wonder – how concerned should we be about this? Should someone check on Marcuswayne? Maybe do a quick wellness visit? See if he’s been replaced by a deepfake?

As we know, Marcuswayne is a master of hypocrisy, projection, and uncritical thinking, so if he’s condemning the remarks, it must mean that he – like every other man in the world under the age of 25 – has spoken, texted, and joked about some wildly inappropriate things in his life.

Seriously, you know that guy’s part of three or four group texts with his lake, gym, and truck-nut buddies that could get either canceled or an award from the Young Republicans Association.

“Uhm, Patrick. Are you agreeing with JD Vance here?”

Not really. Screw those Young Republican dudes.

I know firsthand how stupid, dumb, and immature young... and old... and middle-aged... men can be, especially when they’re trying to one-up, impress, and get laughs.

Plus, let’s be honest – everyone has probably written, said, or at least heard (and uncomfortably laughed at) an inappropriate – and occasionally insidious – comment or two while in private among friends.

So, on that note, I do think it’s a little self-righteous to gas-chamber someone’s career over this.

Then again, this wasn’t a fantasy football group chat. This was a large text exchange with enough people involved that someone leaked it to the press.

I don’t care how young — or Republican — you are. If you’re dumb enough to joke about rape in a group chat in 2025, you probably shouldn’t run for office. And as proven by who Oklahomans keep sending to Washington, we’ve already got enough dumb people representing us.
