Markwayne Asserts He’s ‘The Man’ in His Totally Not Gay Relationship With Union Boss…

One of the most troubling things to happen in our country over the past year or so – and there have been a lot of them – has been the meteoric and disturbing rise of U.S. Senator Marcuswayne Mullin into a mainstream media brand.

Like a Red Rooter, he's always on call to rush out to Face The Nation, Meet the Press, or any cable outlet in need of a Trump loyalist, and flush and clear the propaganda pipes with a steady stream of verbal sewage.

In addition to that, Marcuswayne is now very active on social media, dispensing a heavy dose of theatrical videos that seem to be part of a concentrated attempt to brand himself as America’s Truck Nut Senator – a manly, working-class hero who (despite being worth $50 million or so) represents all the tough guys who drive big trucks, own a pair of Oakleys, and think the Twin Peaks waitress actually likes them.

In a recent one, he chummed up with Teamsters Boss Sean O’Brien.

Just one year ago, these guys nearly turned C-SPAN into WWE Raw after they “nearly” came to blows during a Senate hearing, but have since been ordered by their new daddy Trump to get along and play nice.

The result is this weird and awkward video where Mullin puffs out his chest and brags about being the man in their new “relationship”—something the O'Brien laughingly argued.

Wow. Isn’t love a funny thing?

Just one year ago, these lovebirds were making Bernie Sanders moonlight as Mills Lane, and now they’re bickering over who’s the man in their relationship. This relationship already feels way too toxic. Next month, I bet they get in a real-life fistfight over whether they should register at Bass Pro or Cabela’s for their wedding, apparently unaware that it’s the woman in the relationship who decides!

Markwayne – apparently impressed by his hysterical sense of humor – joked about being the man during Lori Chavez-DeRemer's confirmation hearing.

I know it got a little chuckle from the girl in the back, but is Markwayne working a little too hard to hit this joke home? With the way things are going, I wonder if we’ll soon see them getting a little too handsy in a D.C. theater like Lauren Boebert?

Okay, I’m just joking around.

Making weird, uncomfortable jokes to assert your alpha dominance doesn’t mean you’re gay. It just means you’re a cool, tough, unwoke funny guy who likes riffing on politically incorrect topics, and – based on what we know about GOP projection – still probably gay.

As they say on Seinfeld—not that there’s anything wrong with that.

In all seriousness, I actually don’t think Mullin and O’Brien are in love. I think this new “friendship” is pure political theater – a riveting plot twist ordered up by the real man in Mullin’s life – Donald Trump.

Let’s be honest – I even think Marcuswayne would admit Trump’s the proverbial man in their budding relationship.

With Mullin being such a hilarious alpha male now – and so eager to go on TV and defend the president’s policies, cabinet picks, and dictators – I’m sure he’d be fine with his Sugar Daddy Trump "joking" about that!
