MarcusWayne Mullin is worth $31.6 million to $75.6 million…

Over the years, whenever we've written anything about soon-to-be Oklahoma Senator / amateur MMA fighter MarcusWayne Mullin, we like to point out fun little facts like he's a lying, attention-seeking, power-hungry blowhard who was born with a silver monkey wrench in his mouth thanks to his daddy's plumbing business.

Well, I guess it's time to change that to a golden monkey wrench.

According to a report in The Tulsa World about the business dealings of some of our wealthier congressmen, Marcuswayne apparently sold the family plumbing business earlier this year for beaucoups of money!

Check out this insanity!

Oklahoma’s two wealthiest members of Congress became a lot wealthier last year, and all seven current members appear to be better fixed financially than their Nov. 8 opponents, according to their most recent federal financial disclosure reports... Mullin saw his reported assets balloon from a range of $7.3 million to $29.9 million at the end of 2020 to a range of $31.6 million to $75.6 million...

Mullin’s big jump in reported assets apparently results from the sale of his plumbing-related companies to HomeTown Services, a multi-state residential heating, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical company. The sale is not specifically listed under transactions for 2021, but a stake in HomeTown valued at $1 million-$5 million and an investment of $25 million-$50 million in a cash management fund — both dated Dec. 10, 2021 — are.

Wow! That's impressive! The guy basically went from owning upwards of $30-million in assets to just over $75-million! I'm not good at Craig Humphreys' new math, but with the way stock markets have tanked this year, that makes me think the sale of Mullin's plumbing business could have reached upwards of $45-million! Basically, he can now pay his own salary thousands of times and have plenty of money in the bank! That's great to know.

That being said, now that we know MarcusWayne is loaded, you have to wonder why he was throwing a temper tantrum at the State Department when they wouldn't give him a few million to rescue people during his black ops commando mission to Afghanistan. Couldn't he have just rented a helicopter and paid the ransom himself???

Of course, the $45-million price tag for Mullin Plumbing is just a wild estimate put together by TLO Business Consulting Associates. We don't know the real price because Mullin – a guy who likes to present himself as a swamp-draining Oklahoma everyman who likes god, wrestling, and truck nuts – doesn't want to talk about it.

Mullin has been reluctant to talk about the sale, citing confidentiality agreements; requests for comment have not been answered.

It is not unusual for members’ wealth to increase during their time in office, just as it would not be unusual for any Americans’ wealth to grow during their lifetimes. In a June Fox Business interview, though, Mullin and commentator Maria Bartiromo questioned how Democratic Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and her husband Paul Pelosi were able to accumulate “tens of millions of dollars” during her 35 years in Congress.

“I tell people that the worst business investment my wife and I ever made was us coming to Washington, D.C., because we’re not trying to take advantage of it,” Mullin told Bartiromo.

Wow. Imagine that! Markwayne Mullin was hypocritically complaining about other politicians using their clout and DC connections to increase their net worth while he was apparently doing the same. What a shocker!

Anyway, now that we know MarcusWayne is generationally rich, you have to wonder why he would still want a shitty job as US Senator that only pays $168,000 a year. Sure, we know he's a power-hungry megalomaniac who gets a kick out of controlling other people and telling them what to do, but you think he'd have more fun watching his daughter wrestle boys at tournaments and all that fun stuff. Then again, working in Washington has been a lucrative endeavor. If he can double or triple his net worth as a US Rep, just wait to see what he'll do as a Senator! Stay with The Lost Ogle. We'll keep you advised.
