May the Fourth be with you as you guzzle some margaritas. It’s always nice when Cinco de Mayo falls on a weekend, especially a weekend with good weather. This isn’t going to be the typical fare you’ve come to expect from me every Friday. No, think of me as your personal Cinco De Mayo guide.
Cinco de Mayo Festival
Capitol Hill
Gear up for the Saturday drink-fest by attending the fourth annual Cinco de Mayo celebration. There will be food trucks, live music by Conjunto Sin Ley and a Mexican dress show. Locals will vie for bragging rights in the salsa tasting competition. There will be plenty of family-friendly activities to enjoy.
Cinco de Mayo Stonecloud
Stonecloud
Tacos and beer! Taco Nation will be serving tacos along with the surf & turf burrito to accompany Stonecloud’s Mexican Mole Stout. This is a great place to kick off your Cinco celebration.
Cinco de Mayo Tent Sale
Automobile Alley
If you’re looking for something new to wear to all of the weekend festivities, stop by the Siempre Viva tent sale. Palomas will be flowing, so you can sip and shop before hitting the parties in your new duds.

Cinco on 7th Street
Automobile Alley
It’s time for some serious day drinking!! From The Yard to Iguana Mexican Grille, Automobile Alley will be filled with margaritas, craft tacos and live music, in other words, the perfect Saturday. The Thunder isn’t in the playoffs, so there won’t be any sports-related tension, just drinking and noshing and music. Food tents, satellite bars, laser shows (seriously) what else could you want besides an Uber ride home? Grab some friends and celebrate Mexican Independence Day in sloppy-drunk style!
