Todd Lamb is hitching a ride on the Trump bandwagon…

We're about two months out from the June primary election. According to a recent poll of Republican voters, it looks like it's a three dog race for the Republican nomination for Governor.

Mary's Little (Todd) Lamb and Kevin Stitt each received 19% of support in the poll, while Mick Cornett has 17%. Over 20% of voters are still undecided.

This NewsOK report about the poll also included an interesting nugget:

80% of Oklahoman Republicans support Donald Trump? That's insane. Then again, when you consider that most Oklahoma Republicans are greedy, uneducated, hypocritical xenophobes who hide behind a 2,000-year-old religion to justify their bizarre views, it's not very surprising. There's a reason Oklahoma ranks last in everything, right?

With Trump's approval rating being so high (and Mary Fallin's being so low), it's also no surprise that Lamb – the preferred choice of Harold Hamm, Larry Nichols and other Oil Overlords – is now hitching a ride on the Trump bandwagon.

Donald Trump Jr. will be attending a fundraiser for Lamb next week. Here are the details via Todd Lamb's Twitter account:

Yep, that's right. Tickets are only $500 per person... or $1,000 for a couple. Kudos to Todd Lamb's campaign for helping Oklahoma republican voters with the difficult math! Also, what happens at the VIP reception? Do you get to pose with Junior like you got him on a trophy hunt? Will he spill dirt on what it's like to work with Russians?

This isn't the first time Lamb has tried to associate himself with our reality show president. He also brags about it in campaign commercials:
