We have a new Miss Oklahoma…

Here at The Lost Ogle, we love nothing more than recognizing, appreciating and showcasing the many smart, talented, hard-working women who call Oklahoma home. Especially the ones who live in Moore.

On that note, I guess we should tell you about Triana Browne. She won the Miss Oklahoma pageant this past Saturday night at Oral Roberts University, which when you really think about it, is both the weirdest and most perfect place to host a beauty pageant in this state.

Here's a tweet:

Wow. She's beautiful! As one of the judges of the 2017 Ms. Night Trips pageant, I can easily see that Triana has a great chance at ending out state's 10-year Miss American tiara drought. Yeah, that's right. It's really been 10 years since Jennifer Berry and Lauren Nelson won back-to-back Miss America titles in 2006 and 2007. Where has all the time gone?

According to quick internet search, Triana is a model and former track and field student athlete for OSU. I guess that explains why she totally dominated the steeplechase competition at this year's pageant:

Like most attractive females who compete in events where young women are arbitrarily judged and ranked based upon their beauty, talent and ability to answer questions about current event hot topics from D-list celebrities, there's a lot of pics of Triana on the Internet and social media. Here are a few:

We wish Triana the best of luck at the Miss America pageant this summer. Do Oklahoma proud and win that title.
