Frank Keating likes Barack Obama…

8:00 PM EDT on October 10, 2008

Since we are now allegedly a political blog, I figured I would share this with you.

Over at the Huffington Post, Nico Pitney has a nice little post about a radio interview that our former Governor Frank Keating did with Dennis Miller. In it, they talked about our soon-to-be president Barack Obama. Frank said:

He ought to admit, "you know, I've (Obama) got to be honest with you. I was a guy of the street. I was way to the left. I used cocaine. I voted liberally, but I'm back at the center." I mean, I understand the big picture of America. But he hasn't done that...

Honestly, I was kind of disappointed in the interview (audio here). I was hoping he would call everyone in Tulsa stupid. Or at least blame Dick Chaney for Obama being a "guy of the street."
