Fresh off his narrower-than-expected Election Day victory, Governor-elect Mike Mazzei – that still feels gross to write – attended a special luncheon yesterday to celebrate his victory, speak to his wife, and apparently make enemies of the Oklahoma press.
Hosted by Oklahoma Conservative PAC – the theocratic right-wing group that has an oversized role in Oklahoma evangelical politics – the event was advertised to the media, but just before Mazzei took the stage, his campaign asked them to leave.
Mike Mazzei’s campaign just asked all media at today’s Oklahoma Conservative PAC meeting to leave before the governor-elect addresses the audience.

That’s nice. On the campaign trail, Mike billed himself as open and transparent, and nothing shits on that more than kicking reporters out of the room before you open your mouth.
Seriously, how can you claim you’re all about transparency, but then dodge the media when it’s time to preach to your supporters? Oh wait, I forgot. You just have to be a lying hypocrite – something Mike Mazzei has down pat!
